In the evening we really let it rip! We want to celebrate your personal growth with you - and we won't let you down. For our opening and closing event we will turn the best visited event location in Europe (right next to the exhibition grounds) into a show and party area for you! International superstars regularly perform here. U2, Queen, Lenny Kravitz, Justin Timberlake... to name just a few. Even at our World Leadership Summit in April 2019, Barack Obama did the honors here.

About Cologne
"Hey Kölle - do bes e Jeföhl" (High German: "Hey Cologne, you are a feeling"). This is how the people of Cologne sing about their hometown. And they are so right!
Cologne is colourful, Cologne is warm and Cologne is real.
Here community is lived like nowhere else. The 1 million inhabitants of the cathedral city can not only celebrate carnival and drink Kölsch beer, but also welcome every guest with open arms. Here you can be who you are - and make new friends straight away.
Cologne also has the best German constitution with the paragraph 5: "Et bliev nix wie et wor". Meaning: Be open for change!

Arrival
BY CAR:
Wherever you are coming from: Thanks to its central location in the Deutz district on the right bank of the Rhine, the festival grounds are easy to reach. Follow the signs "LANXESS arena" and "Koelnmesse". You will find the LANXESS arena in the immediate vicinity of the Deutz train station.
BY RAIL:
In addition to Cologne Central Station, you can also reach the festival grounds quickly and easily via the second inner-city ICE terminal "Bahnhof Köln Deutz/Messe".
The Deutz train station is approx. 750 m away from the LANXESS arena and can be reached on foot in approx. 10 minutes.
BY PLANE:
The international airport Cologne Bonn (CGN) is only 14 km away from the festival area. The journey by rental car or taxi takes around 15 minutes. The S-Bahn of the Deutsche Bahn connects Cologne Bonn Airport and the LANXESS arena/koelnmesse (station Messe/Deutz) with a travel time of only 8 minutes.
The international airport Düsseldorf (DUS) is 57km away. The journey takes about 47min by car.
