As a physician, author and psychotherapist, Dr. Ruediger Dahlke knows the most common causes of death in industrialized countries: These include cardiovascular disease, cancer, medical malpractice and the side effects of drugs. He explains: "Cancer, for example, is about negative growth - and that is the opposite of beautiful growth. This is polarity, one of the laws of fate. There's always a bright side and a dark side."
According to the expert, we are much more on the dark side when it comes to growth: "We should grow for life. But many of us only grow on the outside. Everything is getting bigger, industry and technology are advancing and we live in an innovative world. But the soul does not keep up and we have too little growth in consciousness. Everything that we can't get right in our consciousness sinks to the body stage and shows us there what it's really all about."
Ruediger Dahlke on Challenges and opportunities
Illnesses are an expression of the soul. But how can it be explained that even small children become ill? Dr. Ruediger Dahlke: "When we are in this world, we play the cosmic game and learn. We are all on a path. I would leave the question of guilt completely out of it. I prefer to talk about responsibility. We get challenges and either let ourselves be encouraged or boycott them. If we allow ourselves to be encouraged, we grow."
Dr. Ruediger Dahlke's daughter was born with Down syndrome. He reports: "At first we were frightened and very affected. But now Naomi is our luck and an incredible treasure for us. She lives only emotions and feelings. She has brought her own tasks with her. Naomi, for example, brings little intellect but a lot of emotions. She is 26 years old and I couldn't even say that my daughter is sick. It is just completely different and has its own purpose. A handicapped child is as much a task for us as it is a chance to learn."
Ruediger Dahlke on vegan nutrition and peace food
Dr. Ruediger Dahlke has been following a vegan diet for many years and has coined the term "Peace Food". He reveals: "Eating is not the centre of my life. I believe that there are more important things in life. Food is important and can support us tremendously, just like exercise. But it is not the centre of life. I myself have been a vegetarian for over 50 years. Later I decided to go completely vegan for animal-ethical, ecological and humanitarian reasons.
Excessive consumption of meat is also extremely harmful to health. Red meat causes cancer - even the World Health Organization now says so. Animal proteins, especially dairy products, are dangerous. Dairy products are ideal for calves and contain growth factors. This causes our cells to divide more quickly. When adults consume dairy products, this also causes rapid cell growth and prevents the secretion of broken cells. This is a classic cancer program. Dairy products promote cancer - this is verifiable and demonstrable.
Challenges as opportunities
Dr Ruediger Dahlke lives in a polar, spiritual world. But even for him there are still challenges. Daily meditation helps him to stay with himself. Even through writing he connects with his energies and remains mindful and relaxed. He sees life crises as a new chance for personal growth and healing. He describes crises as "instruction of fate."
Dr. Ruediger Dahlke can also deal well with criticism and scepticism. He is not a fan of one-sidedness, but attaches great importance to balance. He sees it as his job to restore balance: "It's not so easy, but it's necessary in order to have a fulfilled life. We need an interplay, a symphony. I connect the microcosm with the macrocosm and have a tendency to get involved everywhere." So with Dr. Ruediger Dahlke, there will be no boredom in the next few years.
