Verona Pooth - the successful entrepreneur, presenter and advertising icon - has experienced and mastered a lot in her career. But behind the radiant smile is a woman who has worked hard to earn her place in the business world. In an exclusive interview with Greator CEO Alexander Müller, Verona provides insights into her path to success, talks about her challenges and reveals how she manages to keep getting back up despite setbacks. "Success doesn't happen by chance, you have to keep at it," says Verona Pooth, inspiring women and men alike to pursue their dreams and not let them get them down.

Verona, can you tell us a bit about the beginnings of your career?

My Career started out as a model, but it wasn't easy for me. I always wanted to open my mouth, but as a model you had to be quiet. I quickly realized that it wasn't for me. So I moved into different areas, such as fashion design and later television. I became Miss Hamburg, Miss Germany and finally Miss American Dream.

You also lived in the USA for a while and took part in the Miss American Dream pageant. What was that like?

Yes, that was a crazy time. The pageant belonged to Donald Trump and I didn't even know who he really was at the time. But I won and that was an incredible experience. It was a time when I learned a lot and it opened a lot of doors for me.

Your social commitment is also a big topic for you. Tell us about it.

I have been supporting social projects for over 25 years. The SOS Children's Village in El Alto, Bolivia, for which I have raised over 2 million euros, is particularly close to my heart. It's important to me to give something back and help people. I think that's just part of being in a privileged position.

You've been together with your husband Franjo for over 20 years. What is the secret of your Relationship?

Trust and family come first for us. We have a strong bond and support each other in everything. It's important not to let go of each other's hand and to stick together through thick and thin. We've also been through difficult times, but that has only made us stronger.

You have a remarkable way of dealing with challenges. How do you deal with criticism and setbacks?

For me, naivety is not a bad thing. It means believing in the good and not questioning everything. I was often underestimated, but that helped me. It's important to know your Weaknesses as strengths and to remain authentic. Criticism has only ever made me stronger and motivated me to keep going.

What advice would you give to young people who want to pursue a career in show business?

Stay true to yourself and don't be discouraged by setbacks. Use your supposed weaknesses as strengths and remain authentic. And above all: enjoy what you do. It is important to stay true to yourself and pursue your dreams.
